Couldn't finish this one. The plot was intriguing and I wanted to keep going, but the main character's personality really irked me. She's so unlikable; she's rude and horrible to people seemingly at random, unless they're attractive, THEN they get her instant trust and friendship. I couldn't get past the awful main character, so I skimmed a few pages to see if she actually started to get nicer or more cooperative. Nope. She did not. No, characters shouldn't be perfect and kind to everyone they meet, but they should have good reasons for being nasty. Case in point - and mild spoilers for the beginning of the book - the duo of dudes who are sent to "retrieve" her from her house. When they encounter each other under calmer circumstances later on, Sienna seems to instantly forgive the more attractive guy, while the descriptively unattractive guy continues to be a target for her ire. The hell is this nonsense? She thought both dudes were going to attack her at her house, yet only one of them gets forgiven? There's a massive difference between being a charming smartass and just being an outright... female dog.I don't write reviews often, but when a book really bothers me, I'm compelled to share why. This book might appeal to teenagers who can relate to that particular grating personality trait of Sienna's, but it and the rest of this series are not for me.
