I think a lot of reviewers will focus on the fact that this story has to do with Trump; after all, he is quite a subject of publicity, debate, and entertainment, whether you love or hate the guy.But I think focusing on that exclusively would do Stephen Gilpin a disservice regarding his novel Trump U, because another incredible facet of this book is the compelling narrative itself.Gilpin is a masterful storyteller, and beginning his work in media res, he pulls us into the story of how he started out as a male model, found his way into real estate, and made it to be an instructor at Trump U.Gilpin's biography of the Trump family and the story of the genesis of the Trump real estate empire is detailed, fascinating, and eye opening.Regardless of what side you're on, if you enjoy good storytelling and are looking for something informative and engaging, this book is for you.
